RACINE, WI (CBS 58) -- Get ready to unwrap the magic of the season at our spectacular Downtown Racine Holiday Parade and Tree-Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 9th!

The festivities kick off at 4:45 pm with jolly carolers spreading holiday cheer, serenading us with Christmas favorites. Then, at 5:30 pm, join us at the West side of the State Street bridge as the parade sets off, winding its merry way down Main Street to 6th Street, and dancing through the streets until it reaches the dazzling City Hall by 6:45 pm.
But the excitement doesn’t end there! At 6:50 pm, head to Monument Square for the enchanting Tree-Lighting Ceremony. Mayor Mason and the man in red, Santa Claus, will work their magic, illuminating our Holiday Tree in a burst of festive brilliance!

Throughout the evening, holiday singers and entertainment will serenade the streets with festive tunes, creating a magical atmosphere before and after the parade. Back for the 4th year, we have a small fireworks display after the tree lighting, adding that extra spark to our celebration!

“The Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting mark the festive launch of the 2024 holiday season. This joyous occasion is a heartfelt invitation for our community to unite in the spirit of the season, celebrating togetherness while highlighting the extraordinary holiday shopping and dining delights our downtown has in store.
