MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Racine Public Library is kicking off its 125th anniversary year with a Winterfest celebration on Saturday, Feb. 26.
It's the very first event for the city. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the circle of Library Drive in front of the library.
Events will happen under the cozy shelter of a heated, open-air tent. Masks will be required under the tent. Librarians will tell stories for adults and children around the fire and hand out samples of crafts to take home to make.
Hear more from Julia Heiser, coordinator of the event, joined CBS 58 on Wednesday, Feb. 23 to talk about all of that, plus snacks like chili, hot chocolate, popcorn and s’mores.
