RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Beth Heidorn, executive director of the Racine Zoo, detailed the zoo's upcoming fall schedule during a visit Monday, Aug. 28.
The schedule highlights include World Roar Wine Pour Wednesday on Aug. 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., featuring international beer and wine tasting.
Zoo Debut on Saturday, Sept. 9 is a black-tie gala celebrating the zoo's 100th anniversary. Although tickets are sold out, the event will feature live and silent auctions accessible to the general public online, and the zoo is currently soliciting for auction items.
Heidorn also previewed Jack-O'-Lantern Nights, taking place from Sept. 28 to Oct. 29, where over 1,000 carved pumpkins will illuminate the zoo's pathways.
