Rain, storm chances stay high into a new week along with more erratic temperatures

WSI

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--We had the warmest day of the year recorded on Saturday in Milwaukee with a high of 84. We could see similar temperatures on Monday along with a storm threat. In fact, we have a slight risk of severe weather for Monday, especially late in the day into the evening. But first, Sunday will feature a cooler day with highs well in the 60s, especially away from the lakeside areas. There is the chance for scattered showers and thunder as well periodically. The forecast stays a bit stormy into Tuesday but then we start to dry out and cool off by the middle of the week.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 60s for many. There is one more chance of showers though on Friday as we head into a holiday weekend. Hard to believe.

Warmest day of the year on Saturday...

Different story on Sunday. Daytime temps struggle to get to 60.

Severe storm risk is conditional on Monday. Morning convection could help stabilize the atmosphere...
