MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- At times it was pouring Thursday morning as Milwaukee Area Technical College students moved into their apartments for the upcoming semester.
The 189 students are moving into apartments at Westown Green on Martin Luther King Drive.
And while it probably wasn't much fun doing it in the rain, MATC's dean of the student experience wore a big smile when we asked him how the day was going.
"The rain is the least of their worries," said Equan Burrows, MATC dean of the student experience. "They're excited about getting their lives started here in college at MATC. We're excited about helping them get in and stay in."
Westown Green is MATC's preferred housing partner. This is the fourth year it has provided housing for students.
Classes at MATC start next week.
