VISIT Milwaukee preview: March 29-31
We are waking up to some decent showers and even a few storms Thursday morning. The morning rain will continue through late morning before starting to lighten up a bit. A dry break looks likely for the majority of the afternoon towards dinnertime. A second round of rain may be possible this evening. The best chance for that second round looks to be in areas along and south of I-94.
If evening storms do form they could be on the stronger side with some small hail and gusty wind. A marginal risk for severe weather has been issued for areas south of I-94.
Most cities picked up a tenth to a quarter inch of rain since last night with a soaking rain still expected. Rain totals for Thursday will increase the farther south you live. Northern spots may only see a quarter inch with around a half inch in Milwaukee and over 1" possible near the border in communities like Lake Geneva and Kenosha.
A few rain showers may linger into Friday, otherwise expect some sunshine by Friday afternoon. Temperatures both Thursday and Friday are on the warmer side with highs around 70*. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the rain and storms.
