MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tom McCormick, 2026 chairperson of the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors board of directors, joined us Monday, Aug. 17 to chat about the association's July home sales report.
The conversation covered July sales figures and current housing inventory. McCormick also offered advice for buyers, including what to look for in a home's "bones," such as the roof, foundation, windows, HVAC and signs of water damage, as well as what to notice outside the home and around the neighborhood.
McCormick mentioned how buyers can look past staging and cosmetic upgrades to assess a home's true condition, and shared tips for making the most of a short 20- to 30-minute showing.
