MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County deputies closed part of I-94 late Sunday night, Aug. 16 into Monday morning to investigate a possible shots fired incident, according to the sheriff's office.

A witness reported people in two dark-colored vehicles shooting at each other on I-94 between 25th and 16th streets just before 10:30 p.m. Sunday, the sheriff's office says. Deputies closed part of the interstate to search for bullets.

It's not yet known whether anything was found.
