MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- If you can believe it, it has now been ten years since the "Milwaukee lion" took both the state and country by storm. 

Back in July of 2015, a report came through to police about a potential lion that was spotted near Garfield and Palmer on Milwaukee's north side. 

Investigation into the matter continued for multiple days, until an officer said that they too saw a "lion-like creature" near 30th and Fairmount. 

Authorities spent days searching for the creature after multiple of those alleged sightings, but they never did find it.
