MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Glorioso's Italian Market says they will not be reopening until the new year as repairs continue following a fire that broke out above the store back in October. 

In a post shared on social media Friday, the Brady Street shop wrote that they are experiencing delays and will not be opening until January.

About three weeks prior, the store indicated that repairs were underway on the first floor, and that the second floor still needed to be drywalled and painted.

The market says they have "big plans" for the new year to celebrate. 

They say they'll continue to post updates on social media regarding a reopening date.
