Reports: New York Mets hiring long-time Brewers executive David Stearns

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Longtime Milwaukee Brewers executive David Stearns is being hired by the New York Mets to be their new president of baseball operations, according to ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Stearns has been with the Brewers since Sept. 2015, having served as the team's general manager, president of baseball operations, and most recently serving an advisory role with the club.
