Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Biship
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) --The Green Bay Packers and their fans are all waiting for Aaron Rodgers. The quarterback's future with the team is in question and he's really the only one with the answer.
Rodgers is in talks with the New York Jets, according to a report from ESPN. The Jets owner flew across the country Tuesday to meet with Rodgers, then flew back to New York late last night, ESPN said.
Rodgers could retire, return to Green Bay, or restart his career with the Jets.
Fans we spoke with Wednesday are fatigued by the long decision-making process, and some say they'd rather see the Packers move on from Rodgers and begin the Jordan Love Era in Green Bay.
Aaron Jones spent Wednesday morning begging Rodgers to return during an appearance on NFL Network's "Good Morning Football".
"A-Rod, you know where home is", Jones pleaded to the camera. "We'd love to have you back."
Rodgers has said he wants to make his decision before the start of NFL free agency, which is next Wednesday afternoon.
