Santa to arrive by electric train for East Troy Christmas tree lighting
CBS 58 EAST TROY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Santa will travel by electric train to the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony in East Troy on Friday, Dec. 6, according to the East Troy Railroad Museum.
The Christmas Parade Train will depart from the Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago at 5:06 p.m. and make stops at five locations along the route before arriving in East Troy, according to Ward Komorowski, president of the East Troy Railroad Museum. Santa will transfer to an East Troy Fire Department truck for arrival at 6:30 p.m. in Village Square Park to light the Bob Barutha Memorial Christmas Tree.
The parade train does not carry passengers and is for viewing only.
The East Troy Electric Railroad will also offer its annual Christmas trains to Santa's workshop at the Elegant Farmer on select dates through Dec. 21.
