MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) --Republican Senate candidate Eric Hovde spent Tuesday on a three-city tour making campaign stops in Sun Prairie, West Bend and Milwaukee. He was greeted by cheers at the Wisconsin GOP Hispanic Community Center.
Hovde told the crowd his opponent Senator Tammy Baldwin, along with other Democats, have tried to "remake America."
"I think there's a thirst for people across the board that want to see change because the price of their groceries, their housing, their health care, they're struggling," Hovde said. "So they want change."
Before his stop in Milwaukee, Hovde cast his ballot in Madison, marking the first day of early in-person voting in Wisconsin.
After casting his ballot, he mentioned one thing he wish had gone differently over the course of his campaign.
"I would like more debates. I think that's what the process should be," Hovde said. "In the old days, you'd have debates all over the state. To think one debate, for one hour, I mean that's absurd."
