SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 2-year-old child was injured in a lawn mower accident Friday, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office.
The accident occurred in the village of Hingham. Authorities say the child sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
No further information has been released out of respect for the family.
CBS 58 spoke to witnesses who described the quick response from first responders.
"First it was a cop car," said neighbor Maggie Kolste. "Then it was a couple ambulances from around the area."
"We heard them first, but then we heard the chopper," neighbor Owen Kolste added. "The Flight for Life."
The 2-year old was flown to Children's Hospital. The Sheriff's Office says the incident does not appear to be criminal.
