Sheboygan police arrest suspected hit-run-driver who injured bicyclist
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sheboygan police announced on Thursday, Oct. 10 that they have arrested a 41-year-old man from Fredonia in connection to the hit-and-run crash that injured a bicyclist in Sheboygan on Sunday, Oct. 6.
That victim reportedly remains hospitalized at Froedtert hospital in critical condition.
Police say they received the help of the Ozaukee County Sheriff's Department, with the suspect being transported to the Sheboygan County Detention Center for a probation violation.
The charge of hit-and-run causing bodily harm is being referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney's Office, and the investigation is ongoing.

The incident happened early Sunday, Oct.6 around 5:47 a.m.
Police say a 60-year-old Sheboygan woman was traveling southbound on S. 8th Street on a bicycle when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
The woman sustained significant injuries and was transported via Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital.
The driver who left the scene has not been identified.
Police released video of the vehicle believed to be involved in this incident.
