Sheriff's office: You could face a $200 fine for using fireworks in Milwaukee County
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 4th of July is right around the corner and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is reminding the public that fireworks are illegal in the county.
According to the MCSO, Milwaukee County Ordinance 47.05 (2) prohibits setting off fireworks in parks/parkways and carries a citation of $200.50.
