All clear: Shots fired situation closes portion of I-94 eastbound in Waukesha County

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- I-94 eastbound closed Monday morning, Nov. 20 due to a shots fired investigation east of Moorland Boulevard in Waukesha County.

According to the Waukesha County sheriff's Department, officials received a call from a person traveling eastbound on I-94 in the area of Moorland Road, when they said an individual pointed a firearm at them and pointed a round, hitting their vehicle. 

The interstate was shut down for two hours as officials completed a search of the area. 

The case remains under investigation.
