Early Evening Update: Rain continues lakeside with wet snow falling...
It's been a beautiful start to the work week with plenty of sunshine, comfortable humidity, and seasonal temps! Both temps and humidity will increase a few degrees today with highs in the low to mid 80s and dew points climbing back to around 60°.

We'll continue to notice the humidity tonight into Thursday thanks to southerly winds ahead of a cold front. That front will trigger strong to severe storms in NW Wisconsin later this afternoon and evening with storms weakening as they travel SE towards SE WI by the early morning hours on Thursday.

The front itself won't track across the area until early afternoon Thursday, so isolated showers or storms can't be ruled out until then.

Most of the state is under a level 1 or 2 severe risk today, but only a small portion of southeast Wisconsin is included in the Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5).

Humidity will dip slightly to end the week, but temps will still be near to above normal into the weekend and beyond.

The end of the month looks even hotter. The 8 to 14 day temperature outlook that that us through the last week of July shows above normal temperatures favored for all of the lower 48.
