Snow season comes to an end

Rejoice! We've made it to the end of the snow season in Milwaukee! Today marks the latest date Milwaukee has ever had measurable snow when we picked up 0.1" in 1966, and we have no snow on the horizon.

Milwaukee picked up 52.4" of snow during the 2022-2023 snow season with nearly half of that falling in March (23.1").

No snow in the forecast, but we do have a couple rounds of showers as we end the week and move through the weekend.

After a sunny and warm day today, clouds increase tonight with light showers possible as early as Friday morning south of I-94. Showers will become more widespread as we head into the afternoon.

Most of the shower activity will wind down before sunrise on Saturday, but there may still be a lingering shower or two lakeside. Most of Saturday looks dry during the day, but another batch of showers move in Saturday night and will remain scattered throughout the area on Mother's Day.

Temps will be on a bit of a roller coaster given the off and on shower chances. We'll generally have an easterly wind over the next three days, so warmest temps will be away from the lake.
