Traffic calming reconstruction project begins on National Avenue
DELAFIELD, Wis (CBS58) --Sunday, April 28, is National Pay It Forward Day and a coffee shop in Delafield hopes to brighten unsuspecting coffee drinker's day.
"I think it's good to just pick up somebody else's day when you have that opportunity to do that," said Customer Nathan Kinnaman.
Pay It Forward Day is about small random acts of kindness. At Blue Collar Coffee in Delafield, it's something they do every day. The coffee shop's General Manager, Karlee Blum, says it builds a sense of community.
"People get excited to do it, whether it's for someone they know or a total perfect stranger," said Blum.
Kinnaman, a regular at the shop, paid it forward to a single dad, saying he hopes it lifts their day even a little bit.
"If you're in a financial stable position where you can pay it forward it's just a nice thing to do for someone I think," said Kinnaman.
