After a week and a half of dry weather we saw some steady rain roll into southeast Wisconsin between 6:30-8:30 AM Thursday morning. The rain will stay steady through the rest of the morning and will come to an end during the early afternoon. Here's the radar image as of 9 AM:
Not too much rain is expected to fall with light to moderate rain amounting to less than a half inch for everyone.
We may see some decent dry weather or even a peek of sunshine Thursday afternoon. Any clouds that leave the area will return Thursday night with a chance for some light mix Thursday night. A few bursts of snow or wintry mix will be possible throughout the day on Friday both in the morning and afternoon/evening.
Any bursts of snow could lead to a dusting of snow on some grassy surfaces, mainly away from Lake Michigan.
We are still watching Sunday for another chance for a little snow or some mix. Sunday's chance looks a little better for some light accumulating snow. Still mainly away from the Lake and on grass.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the rain and the chance for snowflakes.
