Students, families join Gov. Evers for annual tree-lighting ceremony at state Capitol

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The state Capitol is ready to celebrate the holidays.

On Tuesday, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and Lieutenant Governor-elect Sara Rodriguez hosted the annual holiday tree-lighting ceremony in Madison.

The tree-lighting event was held at noon in the state Capitol rotunda.

Musical guests and Wisconsin students and families joined Gov. Evers and others to celebrate the holiday season.

This year's holiday tree theme is Wisconsin Waters.
