MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Attendance figures are in for the 55th edition of Summerfest -- along with the dates for Summerfest 56.
The nine days of Summerfest drew 624,000 people to the lakefront grounds. That's a huge increase -- 40% over Summerfest attendance in 2022.
Don Smiley, the outgoing CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc., called the total, "fantastic results."
As for next year, organizers will stick to the three-weekend format that was adopted after the pandemic.
Summerfest 2024 will run on three consecutive Thursday through Saturday weekends, June 20-22, June 27-29 and July 4-6.
More can be found here.
If you have a band you want to see next year or a genre you'd like to see more of, fill out this survey. Plus, all survey submissions will be entered to win two US Cellular 9-Day Power Passes for 2024. One winner will be chosen, see full rules & regulations here.
