WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Super Bowl Sunday is a big day for football, television commercials and chicken wings, as more chicken wings are consumed on Super Bowl Sunday than any other day of the year.

Fourth-N-Long, a restaurant known for its wings in West Allis, is getting ready for the busy day. On a normal week, they sell between 5,000 and 6,000 chicken wings. They plan to serve more than 2,000 wings this Sunday alone.

“We don’t bread our wings,” said Mike Lange, the owner at Fourth-N-Long. “We just fry them, sauce them and take them out that way. Twenty-five sauces, four dry rubs, homemade ranch and blue cheese.”

Fourth-N-Long has 24 televisions to watch the big game on. They open at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9..
