MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The man accused of hitting and killing a Milwaukee DPW worker is now in custody.

Police say 30-year-old Terron Clayborn was arrested around 8:30 Wednesday morning at a home near W. Beckett Avenue and W. Fiebrantz Avenue.

Clayborn is charged in the deadly hit-and-run of 54-year-old Bryan Rodriguez. Rodriguez was killed while filling potholes near the intersection of Vine and 17th Street on February 8.

Bryan Rodriguez's family released this statement:

"I am so grateful to the Milwaukee Police Department for all their hard work in finding Clayborn. Thank you so much!
We are all relieved that he has been caught. Although this doesn't bring my husband back, it is some closure and we want justice for Bryan!
I want to thank everyone who has supported me through this difficult time. Whether it was your kind heartfelt words, offers of help, fundraisers or all those that were there for the funeral. What a wonderful community for keeping Bryan and his family in your thoughts."
