Suspects steal beer from store near 46th and Hampton, point gun at victims who tried to stop them

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Police are currently investigating an armed robbery at a store in the 4600 block of Hampton Avenue.

It happened around 7:07 p.m. on Saturday.

According to police, two suspects attempted to leave the store without paying for beer.

They were heading towards a parked vehicle when the two victims chased after them in an attempt to retrieve the merchandise.

One suspect dropped the merchandise and swung at one of the victims but missed.

The second suspect then pulled out a dark colored semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the other victim. 

The suspects then fled the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Police are still searching for the suspects.
