It was a record tying Sunday in Milwaukee with highs reaching 95°! That ties the record high for today's date set back in 1939. All of southeast Wisconsin was able to warm into the 90s today.
Most of southeast Wisconsin will likely warm into the 90s again on Labor Day, but temps will be a couple degrees cooler than today.
Warming into the 90s on Labor Day doesn't happen very often. In fact, it's only happened nine times on record in Milwaukee, and we haven't been in the 90s on Labor Day since 1973!
You'll notice the humidity more on Labor Day as dew point rise back into the mid 60s. It'll be fairly humid both Tuesday and Wednesday before a cold front moves through.
Isolated showers and storms will be possible Tuesday evening through Wednesday with this system.
Behind this mid-week low pressure system, we'll get rid of the humidity with temps dropping back into the 70s.
