MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- No matter if you call them "pawnch-kee" or "poon-shkee," everyone's love for these traditional doughnut-like pre-Lenten goodies is just about the same on this Fat Tuesday.
These Polish donuts can be filled with custard or cream and could be covered with powdered sugar or a glaze.
Numerous places all across southeast Wisconsin, like National Bakery and Grebe's, are well stocked for the time being. Tens, if not, hundreds of thousands will be sold on this day before Ash Wednesday begins.
There are so many locations to buy them that I enlisted the help of Yelp for the search the metro area.
