The highlight for most students was the liquid nitrogen experiments including a cloud and tornado.

For the students, Weather Day wasn't just about a day off from school, it was an opportunity to learn about the science behind all the weather we experience.

"Science is really important for children and I think they're all born scientists and I think a lot of times they don't get all of the opportunity in the classroom to experience it so whenever it can be supplemented I think that's extremely crucial," said Maria Myles the parent of a second grader at Ben Franklin Elementary.

It's also an opportunity for some students to experience Miller Park for the first time, "It's a first time experience for most of our kids, but they are enjoying it. Just being here in the stadium has been awesome for them," said Tjuna Eggson from West Side Academy.

After the experiments on the field, students got to enjoy the science fair with interactive experiments from all of the partners including a green screen from CBS 58 which was a crowd favorite.

After the Weather Day portion of the day, students got to enjoy a science fair with interactive exhibits before a great game against the Cincinnati Reds including a Brewers 2-0 victory!
