MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Parents, great news. Milwaukee's iconic science museum is back open for business after being closed for four months because of the Coronavirus. Discovery World is in its first phase of re-opening. The Reiman Aquarium is available for all to see along with several popular exhibits, including "Automation Everywhere," "Great Lakes Future," "Power On," and the "Promenade Wave Tank." The center's President and CEO, Bryan Wunar, says the overall experience shouldn't be diminished. But he wants patrons to be prepared by purchasing tickets and parking even before you arrive.
Remember Discovery World's hours have changed. The museum is opened Wednesdays through Sundays, 9 am until noon and 1 until 4 pm. The center will be closed on these days between noon and 1 pm for a deep cleaning. Again, you are asked to pre-register to purchase a ticket and pay for parking. You can do so by clicking here.
