Trek bike recall

Wisconsin's legendary Trek bicycle company is recalling near 1 million bikes after a rider was paralyzed.
The recall affects models of Trek bicycles from 2000-2015 that have front disc brakes and a black or silver quick release lever on the front wheel hub. The problem can cause the wheel to stop turning or break away from the bike frame. Most of them are mountain bikes.
Local Trek dealers are installing new quick releases for free.
