Prosecutors say Isaac Barnes fired the gun that killed Sandra Parks last year. Parks died after a stray bullet hit her while she was inside her home near 13th and Hopkins in November.
Authorities say Barnes was the gunman and another man, Untrell Oden, helped him hide the gun.
Barnes faces life in prison.
The trial is set to begin at 9 a.m.
