MPD looking for suspect after 3 killed in 2 shootings; victims identified

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee police are looking for the person responsible for taking three lives in two separate shootings on Saturday night, Aug. 8.
MPD was first called to a shooting on 21st and Pierce Street around 9:40 p.m. That's where they found two people shot in what was described as "domestic violence related."
CBS 58 confirmed the 26-year-old woman killed in the shooting was Vanessa DeHerrera, who was identified by family.

The 29-year-old man was identified as Scott Bucholz through a GoFundMe created on his behalf.

According to the fundraiser, Bucholz was trying to help a friend during a domestic dispute when the suspect opened fire, killing both Bucholz and the woman.
About 25 minutes later, at 10:05 p.m., Milwaukee police were called to another shooting near 39th and Townsend. A 39-year-old was found shot and taken to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. Friends identified the victim as Shamarla 'Asir' Hare, a Navy veteran.

Police have not identified a suspect, though they say they know who they're searching for. It's unclear how the two shootings are connected.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police say two people are dead following a shooting on the city's southside on Saturday, August 9.
Officers responded to a double shooting at around 9:40 p.m., near 21st and Pierce Street.
The victims, a 26-year-old and 29-year-old, died at the scene as a result of the gunshot wounds.
CBS 58 has confirmed one of the victims was identified by family as Vanessa De Herrera.
MPD continues to search for suspect(s) as no arrests have been made.
