USPS employee struck by hit-and-run driver in Waukesha

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A United States Postal Service (USPS) employee was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Waukesha on Thursday, Jan. 2. 

Around 10:25 a.m., Waukesha police say a USPS employee crossing the street near Wilshire Place and Moreland Boulevard was struck by a vehicle turning left onto Wilshire Place. 

Officials say the USPS employee fell over and received minor injuries. 

The driver stopped and asked if the USPS worker was OK and then left the scene. 

Police are now looking for the driver and vehicle involved.
