Victim dies of injuries after 'unprovoked attack' near Camp Randall Stadium

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- UW-Madison police say the victim attacked outside Camp Randall Stadium died of their injuries on Sept. 25.
Suspect Keith Jones remains in custody. The UW-Madison Police Department is recommending his charges be amended to first-degree intentional homicide.
An investigation is ongoing. Police say there is no threat to the campus.

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- UW-Madison police say Keith Jones was taken into custody Saturday afternoon, Sept. 20.
Jones was booked into the Dane County Jail, according to law enforcement, and has tentative charges for aggravated battery with intent to cause great bodily harm, robbery and a probation violation.
MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The UW-Madison Police Department says they're investigating an aggravated assault that happened the morning of Sep. 20, in a parking lot adjacent to Camp Randall Stadium.
Police say around 2 a.m., the victim was critically injured in an unprovoked attack and taken to an area hospital.
UWPD says the attack happened in the 15 Breese Terrace parking lot.
The suspect has been identified as Keith Jones, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He's described as standing 5'7, weighing 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Jones was last seen wearing black shorts, a black hoodie, black shoes, long dark socks, and a lighter-colored hat.
Police say Jones may be in possession of a BEST security uniform and radio.
This individual may be dangerous. Police are asking people not to approach the suspect if you see them. Instead, call 911 immediately.
