UWM Osher Lifelong Learning Institute announces summer program registration
MILWUAKEE (CBS 58) -- The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute has announced the opening of registration for its summer programming, which includes a variety of talks, workshops, day trips and more.
Registration begins on Tuesday, May 2 online.
Designed for adults aged 50 and older with a passion for learning and serving over 15,000 participants annually, the Osher Institute lifelong learning program aims to offer numerous opportunities for participants to learn, stay active and engage with others during the summer.
Members can expect a range of activities such as day tours to the Urban Stables, the Hunger Task Force Farm and Warehouse and the Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery.
Talks and discussion groups will cover topics from web programming to the Billboard top 10 of 1973 and the history of weather forecasting.
