Previewing upcoming events in Racine County
(WAUKESHA) - Along with 5,000 ships, more than 13,000 aircraft undertook a variety of tasks in support of the D-Day invasion. Now 75 years later, a small number of World War Two era planes are still in the air. Over the Memorial Day weekend, vintage military planes took part in a gathering of warbirds at the Waukesha County Airport.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Shirley Descorbeth found out it was more than a display, it was a trip down memory lane for a number of service men and women.
