MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The LGBTQIA+ community experiences higher rates of food insecurity compared to non-LGBTQ+ individuals, according to the Food Research & Action Center.
Efforts to address the disparity include a partnership between Vivent Health and Hunger Task Force.
Vivent Health CEO Brandon Hill and Hunger Task Force CEO Matt King joined us on Tuesday, June 25 to talk about the rising need for food pantry services, as well as their organizations' missions and how the food pantry aligns with these goals.
