MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The fate of the Dreamers -- children of undocumented immigrants heads to the US Supreme Court this month.
On Saturday, Voces de la Frontera, held what they called a "call to action" meeting at South Division High School.
A ruling on DACA which stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival could affect about 3.5 million dreamers across the nation and up to 8,000 people in Wisconsin.
"We are here to contribute. We are here to be law-abiding citizens of the United States. We just want this opportunity to continue to be living in the country that we've been calling home for many years," said Daniel Gutierrez, DACA recipient.
The US Supreme Court will take up President Trump's appeal for removal of DACA on November 12th.
