Voting begins for 'Fest Fan of the Past 55' as fans reflect on Summerfest memories

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As Summerfest celebrates its 55th anniversary, folks from around the area have been reflecting on their favorite memories from the iconic music festival.

Summerfest has announced the top ten finalists for its "Fest Fan of the Past 55" contest, where fans were asked to submit their favorite Summerfest memories from the past five decades.

The winner will be determined through a combination of online fan voting and a review by a celebrity panel of judges.

Online voting is open and will continue until 11:59 p.m. on April 24. The contest winner will be announced in May and will receive recognition during the 55th anniversary of Summerfest.

The winner will also receive a unique prize package, which includes a private party for 100 guests during the festival, two UScellular Power Passes, two tickets to a show of the winner's choice at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater during Summerfest, a $100 Summerfest gift card and a signed Summerfest memorabilia item.
