Voting rights groups rally for fair and open elections

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- "There is an intentional effort to limit access to the ballot. specifically in Wisconsin. This effort has resulted in chaos and fear., fueling division in our electoral process," said State Director of All Voting Is Local Shauntay Nelson.
Several voting rights groups gathered in Milwaukee today, on July 21, to support a county resolution for fair and open elections.
Chairwoman Marcelia Nicholson leading the effort to invest $50,000 to the county clerk and the elections commission.
If approved, the funds would be used for voter education and registration to increase turnout for future elections.
