
WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people are dead, and another injured, after a crash late Friday, Aug. 22 in the Town of Walworth, according to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash happened at around 11:47 p.m. at U.S. Highway 14 and State Line Road. Investigators said 20-year-old Zachary Bryan was driving west on State Line Road when he failed to stop at a posted sign and crashed into a vehicle traveling north on Highway 14.
Both vehicles left the roadway and hit a nearby house.
One vehicle caught fire, spreading flames to the residence. The driver and passenger of that vehicle died at the scene. Their names have not been released.
The driver of the second vehicle was flown to a hospital with serious injuries. No one inside the home was hurt.
The crash is being investigated.
