After a fairly sunny weekend with highs in 40s we are going to warm things up as we go into a new work week. High temperatures on Monday and Tuesday are expected to reach the 60s. The record high for Monday is 66* so we will come close. Tuesday's record is in the 70s so that one is likely out of reach.
Wednesday is still a mild day with highs in the upper 50s although a light lake breeze does return. Then we cool down closer to average in the middle 40s for St. Patrick's Day weekend.
Along with all of the warmth will come a good amount of wind. A gusty southwest breeze will get to 30 mph bringing in all the warm air Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday the wind lightens up a bit with the lake breeze returning.
With all of the warmth and wind will come some good sunshine to kick off the week and no rain or snow chances. Wednesday will bring in our next chance for rain with a few light showers possible. Rain does already look likely on Thursday and could be another soaker similar to the steady rains we had last week.
