Warmest Days of 2015 Ahead

Today the forecast continues to highlight the much above average temperatures across the area. The normal high and low for today in Milwaukee is 41° and 27°, respectively.  Not only will we surpass those marks, but we're looking for our first 60° day of the year.  And that kind of warmth has been a long time coming!

A weak cold front will drop through this evening. Although it moves through on a dry note, it will give us a wind shift from the southwest to the northwest. You'll notice that breeze Saturday. But it will still be a decent day for the Milwaukee and Racine St. Patrick's Day parades. Both events start at noon. Here's the parade forecast for Saturday.

It looks like we'll tack on another 60° this coming Monday. There too, a cold front is progged to drop through late day and could kick off a few spotty rain showers. Behind that boundary temps will cool back to the 40s for highs the rest of next week. Lows will still hover around freezing and that means any dirty snow piles will likely vanish over the next week.
