WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is dead following a fire in Lac LaBelle Thursday, Dec. 18. 

According to the Western Lakes Fire District, crews responded to the single-family residence shortly after 5 p.m., and aggressive efforts got underway to extinguish the fire. 

Authorities say high winds contributed to the rapid spread of the blaze. 

During a search of the home, authorities found one person deceased. 

At this time, officials do not believe the fire is suspicious. 

The cause remains under investigation.
