Waukesha County opening 2 new beer gardens at Menomonee and Minooka Parks

WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Waukesha County Parks and The Tap Yard Beer Gardens will hold a pair of ribbon cutting and ceremonial first pour events to celebrate new beer garden locations in Menomonee and Minooka Parks.

“It’s great to have a partnership with The Tap Yard for our community,” said Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow. “We know that Waukesha County residents and visitors will love the convenience and variety of these three locations – and the beauty of the outdoors in Waukesha County.”

Grand opening ribbon cutting events:

  • Thursday, May 4 at 3:30 p.m. at Menomonee Park, W220 N7884 Town Line Road, Menomonee Falls
  • Wednesday, May 10 at 3:30 p.m. at Minooka Park, 1927 E. Sunset Drive, Waukesha

The Tap Yard beer gardens will operate Wednesday-Sunday from May 3 through September and feature a rotating selection of craft beer, wine, hard seltzers, and canned cocktails at an outdoor bar. Guests will enjoy special events like trivia nights, food trucks, and tap events throughout the 2023 season, in addition to each location’s park amenities.

“We are very excited to serve even more of Waukesha County with the addition of two new beer garden locations at Waukesha County Parks,” said Nick Marking of The Tap Yard Beer Gardens. “Like our existing Waukesha County location at Fox Brook Park, both Menomonee and Minooka Parks are fantastic settings for a chat with family and friends over a drink.”
