WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The youngest victim of the Waukesha Christmas parade attack was remembered today, on Aug. 6, in a special way.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department introduced their newest K9 and named the dog "Jackson" in honor of eight-year-old Jackson Sparks.
The Sparks family said it means so much to them for the K9 to be dedicated to Jackson.
"We're so excited to see everyone and so many people want to help and do things and that's what helps us carry on and move forward and heal," said Aaron Sparks, Jackson's dad. "And we're hoping this will help the community heal and we're just excited."
The sheriff's department also used the opportunity to tell people about the Jackson Sparks Foundation - which raises money to make baseball dreams come true for kids in need.
