WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of letters, cards, emails and gifts are flooding the Waukesha County Courthouse.

Nearly all of them addressed to Hon. Jennifer Dorow, the Waukesha County judge presiding over the Darrell Brooks trial.

Brooks was found guilty of 76 charges, including six counts of first-degree intentional homicide after driving through the Waukesha Christmas parade on Nov. 21, 2021.

The almost month-long trial gained attention from people around the world, and these letters prove interest hasn't slowed.

"I've been watching the trial of the century and I just want to say you are a freakin' SAINT," Mimi, from California, said in a postcard.

Although the messages and gifts are addressed to Judge Dorow, the clerk of circuit court said the items were not sent to her for review.

A lot of the messages contain praise for the way she kept her cool in the courtroom.

"You are a force for good in the world and your infinite patience brings me to tears," Simon, from the United Kingdom, said in an email.

"I also have to applaud you for your diligence and professionalism when Darrell E. Brooks personally, verbally attacked you. YOU STOOD WAUKESHA STRONG," Toby said in a letter.

A supporter in North Carolina sent flowers with the message, "keep up the good work."

The owner of Waukesha Floral and Greenhouse, Rebecca Haut, said her shop fulfilled a couple of orders for Dorow each week.

"They were really messages to her of just admiration for the compassion that she showed," Haut said.

Others sent gifts like wine and Edible Arrangements.

"I appreciate all your work and dedication to the people you serve. Please enjoy dinner on me," Trent, from Texas, said in a letter with a gift card.

Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 15 and 16.
