Wauwatosa's Little Geese Shop collecting donations for local families affected by flooding

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The owners of a children's clothing store in the Village of Wauwatosa are pitching in to help flood recovery efforts.
The Little Geese Shop is in the process of gathering up donations for families who need a little help right now.
Among the items they're taking in include diapers, children's books, and clothes. Already, the outpouring of support has been overwhelming.
The owner tells us they just started collecting donations Monday, and the community is answering the call.
"This place was full of stuff," said owner Danielle Scampini Linn. "When I say full of stuff, the entire back room, you could not walk through it. It was full of stuff."
The Little Geese Shop will start their giveaway this Wednesday, Aug. 20, with plans to run through the rest of the week. And that's just where they're starting, with later dates still in the works.
